he Winds of Change is a recommitment to a 100-year old mission of evangelism through education.

Propelled by a bold new vision for ministry, Zuni Christian Mission School in Zuni, New Mexico has launched an ambitious effort to tap the power of Jesus Christ for spiritual renewal within children, parents and the community where they live.
Touching the entire Zuni Pueblo and reservation community:
- Equip and mentor indigenous Zunis to pursue teaching careers at ZCMS or the Pueblo
- Strengthen Zuni parents as full educational partners
- Make Christian education economically accessible for all Zuni children
- Expand relationships with organizations within the reservation and the surrounding area
Revitalizing the Christian learning community within ZCMS:
- Develop innovative educational programs and support services to help students overcome their many barriers to academic success
- Improve the resources, compensation and support structure for ZCMS staff
- Develop new staff positions to increase ZCMS's capacity to serve
Building physical facilities to fulfill ZCMS's long-term mission:
- Design and build new classroom facilities to replace the 35-year old portable units
- Up-grade staff housing to insure adequate living quarters
- Create an educational endowment fund to sustain ZCMS programs and growth
